media and the fans but, secretly, every racer who lost was tortured unrelentingly to get them to race harder in the next round. After one round of torture, Robbie won an unprecedented streak of races in a desperate drive to stay out of the torture chambers. He eventually led a revolution among the Ghost Racers, casting aside their tormentors and claiming their true legacy as Spirits of Vengeance.
In Heroes Reborn 2021, Phil Coulson used the Pandemonium Cube to craft a reality where the Avengers never formed, and the Squadron Supreme of America were the greatest heroes of the world. Robbie Reyes was the slowest kid in L.A., having never found the supernatural Dodger Charger which changed his life. Instead, Johnny Blaze, the Speedster of Vengeance, still held the power of Hell to compete with America's Blur as the "Ghost Runner".
