1) When he first appeared on Earth, the Stranger wore simple human attire. Even after revealing his alien nature, the Stranger did not adopt exotic garb, but merely assumed the enhanced size and slightly inhuman proportions he would occasionally display over the years. These proportions also served him when he assumed his energy form, becoming a ball of energy with his face represented in cosmic fire. [X-Men (1st series) #11]
2) The Stranger’s first alien look only appeared for a single story. It had some elements of his upcoming classic attire, but had yet to finalize the color scheme and outfit he became most associated with. [Tales to Astonish #89]
3) The Stranger’s classic garb centers on a red tunic which opens into a point at each shoulder. It leaves his legs and arms bare and showcases a yellow symbol on his chest, resembling the horned silhouette of some unknown creature. He wore red arm bands, green boots, a green cape, and a green belt with a sash dangling from his mid-section. [Silver Surfer (1st series) #5]
-) The Stranger has slightly altered his attire many times over the years, given that his form is merely transmutable matter and energy to him. While his size often varies, he also occasionally assumes a different appearance with mildly non-human proportions. It is unknown if this is meant to be his true (Gigantian?) visage, and he only adopts human proportions among Earthlings and similar races.
