In the 31st century, humanity and its various colonies were conquered by the Brotherhood of the Badoon. A small group of heroes assembled to fight back against the Badoon and eventually reclaimed the Earth. Continuing their adventures in deep space, these valiant men and women became known as the Guardians of the Galaxy.
