AVENG.E.R.S.

The AVENG.E.R.S. (Avengers Emergency Response Squad) were conceived by Steve Rogers as a supplemental unit to the Avengers' active roster. These on-call heroes would respond to local disasters or other threats while the main team focused on cosmic, world-threatening events.
