1) Greer’s costume as the Cat was a yellow-colored, full body stocking. The first version had a stylized cat’s claw in black on her chest, but later suits omitted this detail. She wore a blue-black sash at her waist, and boots and gloves of the same color. These had individual metal claws for her fingers and toes. The gloves’ cat claws extended through muscle contraction and could also fire out as a wire-guided grappling claw. Her mask had an exaggerated set of cat ears at the top, green night vision lenses, and let her hair flow freely from the back. The exact color of her mask was a bit of a mystery. The first cover made it look the same color as her hair, with yellow arched eyes over her actual eyeholes. However, inside the comic, the mask looked yellow like the rest of her costume, albeit with heavy black accent. Flashbacks and future use of the costume by Hellcat would exclusively favor the blue-black color for the mask. [Claws of the Cat #1]
2) As Tigra, Greer’s body was now covered in a layer of orange fur. Her stripes were sometimes depicted as black, or a different shade of orange. Her hair was typically auburn or orange like her fur, although some early stories gave her the same black hair color as Greer Nelson. Tigra wore very little clothing, typically little more than a black bikini with spikes around the belt and a cat’s-head amulet at the center of her chest. [Giant-Size Creatures #1]
3) When her two souls merged, Tigra evolved into a slightly different version of her cat form. She developed a more elaborate set of black stripes and a tail. Also, she could no longer revert to her Greer Nelson form. [West Coast Avengers (2nd series) #15]
4) After years in a bikini, Tigra adopted a new costume that covered slightly more skin… er, fur. Her new sports bra and spandex shorts were blue-black and had an enlarged version of the cat’s-head amulet as a chest emblem. [West Coast Avengers (3rd series) #1]
5) She later adopted a slight modification that made this costume into a one-piece with tiger stripe slits on the sides, fingerless gloves and toeless boots. [Moon Knight (9th series) #4]
