Alpha Flight Space Program

The Alpha Flight space program was created as a multi-government agency to serve as mankind's gateway to the stars and space defense from alien invaders. It largely replaced the similar agency S.W.O.R.D., reflect in their commander Abigail Brand joining Alpha Flight as deputy commander under Carol Danvers. As indicated by the name, the Alpha Flight program also borrow heavily from Canadian personnel and resources at first. Once Captain Marvel was removed from authority of Alpha Flight in favor of Henry Peter Gyrich, however, Brand left the program to restart S.W.O.R.D. under her own terms with the nation of Krakoa.
