Notes:

Grasshopper technically only appeared in an out-of-continuity framing sequence in GLA #1. His first (and last) official appearance was GLA #2.

Dying 5.8 seconds after accepting membership in the GLA, Grasshopper still holds the world record for shortest membership on ANY Avengers team. Several subsequent Grasshoppers carried on the fine tradition of dying quickly and horribly after becoming super-heroes.

Allegedly designed by RoXXon, Grasshopper's armor was actually built around the armored legs of the Alpha/Omega Armor, built by the Prosilicans for the First War and used by the Cormorant as the ultimate warrior of the age. Other elements of the Alpha/Omega Armor include the gauntlets worn by Gauntlet and Southpaw.
