ALTERNATE VERSIONS - Page 2

Sabretooth currently runs Orchis Station Five with the other Sabretooth who survived Graydon Creed’s attempt to wipe him out of the multiverse. These included the Sabretooth of Earth-203 (a super-soldier and the Sentinel of Rough Justice), Sabretooth of Earth-12 (a more media-friendly “bad boy celebrity” on his world), and the female Sabretooth of Earth-1912 (a savage tracker living in the wilderness). Graydon also removed the heads of roughly a dozen Sabretooth victims but kept their bodies intact and under remote control. When he fled Station Five, control of these lifeless Sabretooth drones also fell to Victor.

Millennial Visions 2000 showcased a world where the X-Men fell but were replaced by their villains. Magneto assembled a team of X-Men including Sabretooth, Mystique, Goblin Queen, Juggernaut and Exodus. This version of Creed was reportedly cured of his bloodlust by Charles Xavier before he died. Together, these X-Men fought to reclaim Magneto’s throne in Genosha from his usurper, Fabian Cortez, who was responsible for the deaths of the previous X-Men.

In Heroes Reborn 2021, the Avengers never formed and the Squadron Supreme of America fought for Mephisto and Country. Sabretooth was a mercenary in the employ of Baron Zemo and his Siege Society. As the Squadron began to expand America’s interests into Europe, Zemo assembled his Society to push back. Sabretooth and the Soviet Agent fought into the Secret Squadron base under London Bridge, fighting with Nighthawk’s imbedded operatives. When Nighthawk himself showed up, however, his micro-explosives were enough to bring down Creed, at least temporarily. He wound up in the criminally insane wing of the Ravencroft Asylum and fought Nighthawk again when the Goblin started a riot.

In What If…? (2nd series) #74, Sabretooth found himself on another version of the X-Men. In this reality, Mister Sinister managed to keep Scott and Alex Summers close to him growing up, shaping their development. He made Cyclops and Havok part of his own X-Men, with Sauron, Malice (possessing Madelyne Pryor), and Sabretooth as a hired mercenary to provide experience to the mostly teenaged team. Sinister played his games by pitting his X-Men against Xavier’s original team, led by Jean Grey. He telepathically ordered Sabretooth to kill Jean in the encounter, prompting Cyclops to instinctively save her. However, he then faked his own death against Magneto’s Brotherhood, causing his X-Men to dismantle while Xavier recruited Cyclops and Havok for his team, unaware they were still loyal to Sinister’s ideals.

In Days of Future Now, the X-Men were massacred twice by the ever-increasing threat of the Weapon X Program. Mutant teams were increasingly fragmented until Magneto sought to bring his people together at Madison Square Garden. In attendance were the Acolytes, Gene Nation, X-Force, X-Factor, Excelsior and others. Sabretooth led his own Brotherhood with Scalphunter, Caliban, Hub, Blob, Mimic and Avalanche, and they nearly came to blows with Wolverine and his latest roster of X-Men before Magneto silenced them all.
